We were brought in to design the sound, and deliver the dialogue, music and final mixes for this short psychological thriller. The period film was shot entirely on location in Guernsey and the Director briefed our designers to be as subtle with our input as possible. 

How we recorded the flickering of flames, the howling winds and the battering weather conditions proved to be the biggest hurdle with the sound design. It couldn’t veer off into fantasy, so we decided early on to use character perception as a way to allow the design to modulate beyond the 16th Century period feel.

The mixes all took place at our Shoreditch studio at Strongroom.
