The music needed to augment the forward momentum of the films already energetic subject matter, whilst not interfering with the friendly yet deeply serious voice over delivered by Kohji Radical. It was a percussion only brief so tonality wasn't central to the approach. Rhythm, dynamics and articulation instead paramount; just like the sounds of the terraces, atonal crowd noise, and the multitude of other percussive sounds that make up the Premier League sonic world. Multiple percussive layers were carefully composed and edited, and then handed over to the percussionist to record.

We also created the sound design and delivered the mix for broadcast.
